Epsom salts could be excellent for post-partum care and wellness. Here are some tips for using Epsom salts after giving birth:
- Soak in it for aches and pains and for postpartum soreness from episiotomies and incisions.
- Suffering from hemmorhoids? Soak in it.
- Trying to dry up your milk supply after breast feeding? Soak in epsom salts to take down swelling and discomfort
Epsom salts are inexpensive (usually a dollar or two for a bag) and they’re colourless and odorless. Add about 2 cups to a bathtub filled with warm water and soak 15 minutes or so. It’s good for your skin, for relaxation, for detoxification, and overall wellness.
